The zenith is the highest point on the imaginary celestial sphere directly above the observer. The people of Strasbourg, however, would say that the Zénith is the largest indoor arena in France. It has a capacity of more than 12,000 and is used to stage concerts, events, sporting contests and congresses. Anybody of name who wants to reach an audience cannot avoid this spectacular arena, and they almost certainly do not want to. Many of the artists who have performed there, such as the Cirque du Soleil Company, Elton John and Lady Gaga, regard it as one of the best stages in the world.
