A des res for elephants

The oldest zoo in Denmark was established in 1859. A lot has naturally happened in the zoological garden in Copenhagen in the meantime. The Elephant House, designed by British architect Sir Norman Foster, was opened in 2008 and provides comfortable accommodation for up to ten elephants. It was paid for by numerous donations. The Asian elephant is the second largest land animal on Earth and weighs between 2 and 5.5 tons. Seen in these terms, Sturm delivered the equivalent of ten prime bull elephants for the enclosure.
